Gravel & Tar is a small family business run by partners Heath Croad and Bethany Gardiner. Heath is in charge of the day to day running of the business, while Bethany keeps the books and administration in order.

With seven years of experience under Heath’s belt working for a large asphalting company in Christchurch, we decided it was time to go into business for ourselves. We saw the need for a company who would undertake and complete to the highest standard those small jobs larger companies didn’t have time for, and so Gravel & Tar was founded.

We work with a number of large infrastructure companies on earthquake related infrastructure repair and reinstating roading and footpaths affected by the earthquakes. We also work with home and business owners to repair, reinstate or create driveways, paths and car parks.
